14 February 2024: Xintec today announced that it has been awarded a multi-year contract with APUA, the national body for the management of Telecommunications (including mobile & internet), Electricity and Water services on the Caribbean Island of Antigua.
Xintec was awarded the contract following a considered procurement process. The contract sees Xintec provide revenue assurance and fraud management services across the APUA network, including managed service and consultancy services to help APUA build out an internal Revenue Assurance team for the longer term.
The awarding of the contract to Xintec demonstrates the provider’s ability to scale and adapt its products to multiple markets. Traditionally serving the communications sector, this is Xintec’s first significant move into the utilities market- which aligns with the company’s ambitious growth strategy.
Commenting on the contract, Rob Durran, CEO, Xintec, said: “We’re delighted to have been selected by APUA to deliver on their fraud and RA requirements. We’re looking forward to working with the team both in managed service capacity but also as consultants to support APUA in building an internal team to future proof their fraud and RA capabilities using our innovative iGenuity platform.
He continued, “Working with APUA demonstrates the capability of our iGenuity platform to manage fraud and RA across new sectors, outside of communications. It’s an exciting development for our business as we continue to scale for growth.”
Roger Tonge, Financial Controller for APUA said, “We were hugely impressed with Xintec’s intelligence and experience in the fraud and revenue assurance market. They have a customer focussed approach and can scale and adapt to our requirements as needed. We look forward to working with Xintec on building out our revenue assurance capabilities over the coming months.”
